I specialize in the work between strategy and execution—designing architectures that survive contact with real organizations, leading modernizations that deliver value at every phase, and building the tools and systems that make other engineers faster.
Led Project Lighthouse to reverse a multi-year performance decline on cox.com—including TTFB, FCP, and CLS gains—by attacking embedded tech debt without destabilizing production.
Next.js migration POC renders every cox.com page—spanning jQuery SSR, AEM-React, and mixed origins—with zero page crashes, using CSR, ISR, SSR, and SSG per content type.
Presented spec-driven development with AI agents to engineers, non-technical staff, and stakeholders. Contributed to Claude Code plugin marketplace and authored org-wide AI onboarding resources.
Lead two workstreams under one architecture—a shared UI component library and custom AEM site delivery for cox.com—with zero production rollbacks for over a year.
Designed and led a phased Next.js migration to replace AEM-rendered React on cox.com. Built an adapter layer that consumes AEM model.json as a headless content source, rendering pages across three generations of frontend architecture without a single page crash. When the migration stalled on QA validation, I built a visual diff tool in two days—screenshot comparison, markup diffing, design token and component-level analysis—shipped as a standalone repo with CLI and MCP server.
Selected by our AVP to lead a special working group—two principal architects and the enterprise data technical lead—to reverse a multi-year performance backslide on cox.com. The technical fixes were straightforward; the real challenge was changing the culture that allowed years of debt to accumulate. Found creative ways to attack embedded debt without destabilizing production, earning trust from teams that had accepted the status quo.
Architect and lead of the shared component library that other Cox Communications engineering teams build on. Delivered theme-ui8 via pnpm workspaces with Vite build tooling, reduced the CSS payload by 50%, and established the design token standards used across the organization. Designed for theme-agnostic operation to support rapid rebranding.
Leading adoption of AI-assisted development workflows across Cox Communications engineering. Presented spec-driven development with AI agents to 300+ employees spanning technical, non-technical, and stakeholder roles. Contributed to the internal Claude Code plugin marketplace and authored onboarding resources adopted across teams. Built MCP server integrations that connect AI tooling to internal systems.
Shared platform architecture, site delivery, performance engineering, and AI tooling enablement for cox.com. Lead engineer on Project Lighthouse and the Next.js modernization initiative.
Started as a consultant brought in to build a design system and component library before that was common practice. Earned trust, delivered it, and converted to full-time. Six years of wholesale domain expertise and institutional context.
